To all the Italians...

"Making Democracy Work: Civic Traditions in Modern Italy"
Robert D. Putnam
Princeton University Press, 1993.

Thanks to Ceren for suggesting me this book.

"Robert Putnam's central theme--the institutional performance of Italy's 20 regions since the 1970 inauguration of an experiment with regional governance--ties into the ongoing public debate in Italy on the need for decentralization of the state"
Leonardo Morlino

L'analisi di Putnam, che ha fatto la sua fortuna, è famosa ma altamente criticabile...Non la far passare per un libro monito agli italiani!
