Fishing and reading Plato...

"Marx's writings contain several idyllic passeges describing a future society in which men would go fishing in the morning, go to factory in the afternoon, and go home and read Plato in the evening. This is not a ridiculous picture. I have known people working in kibbutzim in Israel who did read Plato in the evening"

From "Main Currents in Sociological Thought", by Raymond Aron.
