Green Soldiers - Nepal

"Nepal and its people have been blessed with some of the most spectacular landscape in the whole wide world. But the top of the world is changing and changing fast. As a result of global warming, Nepal’s annual average temperature has risen by about one degree Fahrenheit. But the temperature in the Himalayas is increasing twice as fast, causing rapid glacial melting. But can we really make an impact to address global warming and reduce its effects? In a country like Nepal, where we still lack in our basic healthcare and education facilities, to dream to address the impact of global warming is like a distant horizon. It may sound foolish to say that we are trying to address the issue of global warming, but just looking at the aftermath of global warming occur and curse the authorities responsible for it was more of being stupid. So we choose to be foolish then to be a stupid."
